Jerusalem police announced to activists from Palestinian Beit Safafa who requested a license to conduct a demonstration at Safra Square, that the plaza is owned by the council, and therefore organizers must contact the municipality to receive permission to protest – even if the protest is against the council itself. Settlers attack 67-year-old farmer in Beit Ummar A group of 30 settlers attacked a 67-year-old farmer in north Hebron on Saturday, a local committee said, according to Maan Palestinian news agency. Seventh prison term for conscientious objector Natan Blanc Conscientious objector Natan Blanc was sentenced to prison for the seventh time for his refusal to join the occupation army. Blanc, 19 years old from Haifa, arrived, last Thursday to the Induction Base in Tel-Hashomer, where he again declared his refusal to serve in the Israeli Army.
